API RP 505/500

Simplified API RP 505/500 Recommended Practices has been implemented into HACAD successfully within three modules. The first module calculates to release rate, zone/div designation per ventilation degree, and probabilistic. The second module is incorporating the most comprehensive calculation module which is the “Point Source Method” to calculate extensions for each stream by using the vapor pressure-temperature volatility chart to determine the categories of the substance and then it will flow to result as simple as possible per the API RP 505/500 Recommended Practices. Completely integrated within the stream base values such as flammable mixture composition, ventilation the other parameter has entered earlier. This page allows the user to specify “Point Source” parameters to create the classified area boundaries for all individual potential sources for Heavier-Than-Air Gas or Vapor Sources and Lighter-Than-Air Gas or Vapor Sources for each stream.
